Trip Description:  HOW Matagorda is the Matagorda Chapter for Heroes on the Water.  

This event is for you to volunteer as a kayak fishing guide for a US military veteran or first responder during an event sponsored by the Matagorda Chapter of Heroes on the Water.  If you wish to volunteer then please send an email to Matt Houston at mhouston@transmarket.com.   

As a volunteer you would bring your own kayak and fishing gear and be prepared to accompany and guide a Vet during a morning of fishing on the west end of East Matagorda Bay.  The Matagorda Chapter provides the fishing kayak and gear to the participating Vets.  

All participants meet at the East Matagorda Bay Paddlesports Park located at 93 FM 2031, Beach Rd, south of the city of Matagorda.

Please note that the event brite site will issue a ticket to the fisherman (woman) signing up and that there are only 15 slots available to each event.
