Trip Description: This night trip to Tiki Island is for night time beginners that want to learn how to kayak fish over the lights. If you have never kayak fished at night over the lights, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Be sure to have a 360 degree light on your kayak that can be seen at least 2 nautical miles. Railblaza makes a great kayak light for this particular style of fishing. Additional items you will want to take is mosquito spray and a head lamp.
Some lures to use are, but not limited to,
* soft plastic glow in the dark
* small 2" baits
* live shrimp

How to Get There: From Houston, Texas, go south on Hwy 45. Take exit 4, The Villages of Tiki Island, and then do the U-turn to the right. Just before you wrap under Hwy 45, there will be a parking lot on the left to turn into. That is where the launch spot will be.
