We will be fishing the cove around Point Aquarius and Seven Coves. Also, if the weather permitted we can troll along the FM 1097 bridge on the South side for big striper bass.

How to get there: |
|
* Take I-45 North to Exit 92 (FM 830, Seven Coves Rd.) 44 miles from downtown Houston
* Turn left on FM 830
* Go to the end of FM 830. Launch kayak at the public boat ramp 6.1 miles

What to pack: |

Normal paddling and fishing gear for winter

|
We will be casting and trolling in the area between Point Aquarius and Seven Coves from the Anchorage marina to the light house and along the lake side of Point Aquarius and Seven Coves at the deep 11 to 21 feet with the Pet spoon or the striper jig lures. We will need to use the Heldon downrigger diver or another diver with the lures if we fish along the Lewis Creek , FM 1097 bridge and the area deeper than 21 feet . See attached
