Bolivar Peninsula Beach House
November 9-11, 2007
Yes we will have both the Seal Wolf Flounder and Bolivar trips coinciding on the same Saturday, Nov, 10, 2007. These events are in the same bay system.
Trip Description:
PACK will be having its 5th annual Bolivar weekend "camping" trip. This will be a "luxury" camping trip as we'll be staying at a beach house which has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and 12 beds (one of which is a queen in the upstairs bedroom). So the house can comfortably accomodate a maximum of 13 people. If others want to stop by for dinner, thats fine, but more than 13 fat snoring fisherman is TOO cozy. It would probably be a VERY good idea to bring ear plugs!!!
The beach house, named "SOS" is about 1 1/2 miles from Stingeree. We have access to the house beginning at noon on Friday, and must leave it (in a cleaned condition) by 4 pm on Sunday. SHEETS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED, SO BRING YOUR OWN!!!
The trip leader will provide a gumbo dinner on Friday night, but side dishes or desserts are always welcome. Saturday night we'll have a group pot luck dinner, which hopefully will include FRIED FISH. So bring whatever you want to throw on the BBQ and a side dish to share with others. (Let the leader know your side dish so we don't end up with 13 side dishes of baked beans and do a remake of Blazing Saddles campfire scene!)
