How to Get There: Go to Anahuac, get on FM 652 (just East of Anahuac) Note: at the intersection of TX-65, go south FM 562, go 14 miles to White Heron Dr. Drive 1 more mile to the Park & Put-In on the right side of the highway. If you enter "Lone Oak Bayou" on Google Maps you will see the bridge over the bayou.
Fishing is in the bayou, the lake, surrounding marsh and inlets. Keep your radar on for alligators and alligator gar. (might not what to use a stringer)

Pack water, lunch, snacks, sun protection, radio. Cell service is poor here. There is a fish cleaning station at Ft. Anahuac. Plan on getting off the water by 2:30 / 3 pm.
PACK Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at Trini Mendenhall Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road, Houston, TX.
