Description:

Guadalupe River Rainbow Trout Trip
January 11-13, 2013

Trip Description:
Pickup your light weight gear and join us for some Rainbow Trout fishing.  TPWD has ongoing stocking program and scheduled to stock 1/11/13.
Read up on Guadalupe River fishing regulations.  River also contains Guadalupe Bass, sunfish and catfish.

Lodging will be at Yogi Bears Jellystone Campground.  We have a bunkhouse that will sleep 14 men.  Bunkhouse has 3 bedrooms with 2 of the bedrooms having a full size bed + a double bunk bed.  One other bed will be the futon in living area.  So the lodging will sleep 8 men in beds/futon.  The other 6 men will need to bring their cot or floor sleeping mat.  Bunkhouse has two full baths and full kitchen.  Outside is large attached covered patio with 3 picnic tables and BBQ grill.  Plenty of parking for everyone including those with kayak trailers.  Bring your swim suit for indoor pool.   Costs will be $40 each for entire weekend.  If under 14 attendees, then attendees will be ask to pay difference.

Beds will be guaranteed by order of event signup.  First eight signups get beds/futon, and the next 6 will need to bring their own cot or mat.

Lodging is about 2 miles from kayak launch site(Rio Raft).  We will do a self shuttle service for kayaker's so we should not incur shuttle expenses.

Payment for your guaranteed bed/cot space will be required NLT January 1, 2013.  Payments not received by then will forfeit space for next person.  Excess attendees over 14 will need to secure own lodging.  Contact me as I have information to help.

Advance attendee payment can be made to me in person or by mail.  My mailing address is listed under members information.

Friday night I will provide a group dinner of Elk Chili with fixins.  Saturday night we will have a group pay your own ticket meal at Granny D's, in Canyon Lake, TX.
