Please join us Tuesday June 15th, 7pm for a unique presentation by Jan and Roy Edwards, community leaders from River's End, TX, who helped organize the Friends of the River San Bernard. [ http://www.sanbernardriver.com/ ]  It was their successful mission to re-open the mouth of the San Bernard River to the Gulf one year ago. Those of you who have fished the Lower San Bernard know what a great close-by waterway this is and  those of you who haven't yet experienced the river will surely want to after Jan and Roy's presentation. This dovetails right into the trip Ken Jennings is leading in August.If you saw the recent stories in Texas Highways "The San Bernard River Once Again Flows to the Sea" and Texas Parks and Wildlife "A River Returns to the Sea" both by Janice Van Dyke Walden then you know the importance on re-opening the river mouth. Come hear how productive the lower San Bernard has become after flow has been re-established.
