October 16 at 6:30pm we are meeting upstairs in the New FTU location on the Katy Freeway.
The Guest Speaker is Warren Falkner (Service Manager at FTU)
Warren will discuss the keys to reel maintenance and reel repair. We will have a video camera and big screen to give you a close up look at what he is discussing.
We will learn the steps to cleaning your reel and after fishing preventive maintenance you should do to keep it in tip top shape.
Bring your questions and your reels to the meeting. He will help you troubleshoot what is wrong with your reel and ways to prevent future malfunctioning. If you can't bring your reel bring a picture or email it to me and I will include it in the slides.
Here is one of my reels that needs a lot of attention.... wonder what Warren will say about this.
