My wife and I would like to join PACK, and participate in some of the events coming up. We had both wanted to join in the past, but had way too many things popping up. So we are putting it on the calender, making it permanent and plannning everything else around it. So.....for the family membership, do each of us need to fill out an app? Or just both our names on one PACK application? Same thing for the ACA application and waiver? Anything we need to do to include the kiddos if we include them in an outting or two?

Welcome to PACK. You don’t have to join PACK to participate in any of the PACK Events or meetings. I hung out with PACK way back in the beginning as a non member for several years before I joined, then ended up being President for 3 years. However, for those outings that have limited positions, PACK Members get the first slots. Example: the Boliver Hilton, there are only so many beds in the House. Also, PACK Events/Outings are sanctioned by the ACA so the participants are covered by insurance if you are a current PACK & ACA Member. PACK Membership also includes ACA Membership. We will ask you to fill out Membership Forms for each member of your family. Each of you will get your individual ACA Membership Cards along with a subscription to PADDLER Magazine.
