A Shout out to everyone... a couple weeks ago I offered to try and compile a list of kayak rigging tips and ideas. I've found that there are great ideas on all sorts of topics related to our favorite sport. Chris A, Jim R have contributed ideas for how to store yaks in the old garage. I've ripped off ideas from Barry S and Buzz B about paddle containment on the yak and using an umbrella for a sail. I've also my own idea of using pool noodles to add floatation to valuable tools such as a boga. Brad V has a nifty idea for setting up a cutting board/fliet station on his kayak trailer. I know there are many many more creative ideas out there for us to share with each other and for new members. But, before I do all the work to compile this into a link for the site, or maybe even a meeting presentation, I'd really llke to have a little more input. Come on you guys, Will H has contributed, some great stuff on crate management, I'm sure Dick MCG has more neat ideas in his garage that many of us will ever think of, and and many of you have been refining your yak, fishing tackle, dry storage, packing for camping, how to manage food on a primitive trip, what ever.. Come on and share your knowledge. Lets be a great resource for the club and anyone interested in kayak fishing. Let's share our good ideas on how to save money and get the job done.. I know we can do it..
