As most of you know I have accepted a position with the Army Corps of Engineers in Brownsville and will be leaving this weekend to report for duty on Monday. Sorry I missed the last meeting, I had a beach date with my two-year old grand-daughter.

I think it was Zig Ziglar who said "Surround yourself with people who enrich your life". PACK did that for me at every meeting, at every event, at every tournament and every email and phone call. I have met great people and now count among you alot of friends for life. My life is forever enriched because of PACK as a group and as individuals.

I hope one of you or a group of you steps up to run the tournament - it is a difficult and time consuming thing - but if delegated properly a group of you can do it, ("delegating" - something Ron is very good at)(I wasn't).

With Ron at the helm - you are in quite capable hands. Keep the great events and ideas coming. See you at PINS (its right down the road from me).

Your tireless work in PACK is legendary...your name, skill, and dedication will live on for many years around the many campfires of PACK. Thanks for your superb leadership. Am positive that all PACK members join me in wishing you fair winds and following seas. ~seacow

Adios, amigo. Thanks for your leadership and for all your enthusiastic contributions to PACK. We'll miss you.

All the best with new job and new town. Hope life down south will be fantastic. We may have to have a South Padre outing next year!

Best of luck... I know you will keep in touch with the gang. WE'll see how good a delegator I am when it comes time to find my replacement.... Look forward to seeing you at some of the south texas events... Maybe one of these days I'll actually go to PINS.
