The Friends of the Sargent Library is holding their 2013 Kayak Fun Run Saturday, October 12, 2013. Sargent is 73 miles from downtown Houston headed towards Freeport.

They are a nonprofit organization that host fund-raising efforts to acquire books, materials, and equipment which the library budget cannot provide.

Registration is $25, the fun run is approximately 4.5 miles down Caney Creek putting in at the Caney Creek Estates Boat Ramp #1 and taking out at The Crab Trap Restaurant. More details in the attachment, or contact:
