Fubar and I drove down to Corpus Christi this weekend. We ran down to PINS to see how things looked. Lots of weed still on the beach. Since his vehicle is only 2WD we didin't venture down far at all. Hope things clear up soon.

Spoke with the PINS Visitor Center today, PINS reports the following beach driving conditions.

- Beach, lots of seaweed, drivable, 4x4 needed

- Yarborough Pass, they have Rangers driving the pass today, will report later today on its drivability.

There is a Plan B. if we are not able to safely drive PINS/Yarborough. We can camp at Bird Island and fish the North end of the Laguna Madre.

I will report tomorrow on what the Park Rangers report.
