Salt Lake

Salt Lake prefish was great 2 flounder, 1 trout and a sheephead. Water was brown, wind was light with tide coming in. I caught the fish in Nick's lake around some oyster beds.

My daughter and I went out there too.  Her first time fishing in a kayak and she's a natural.  We stuck relatively close to the launch and went back into the marshy areas to the west.  She hooked up on a little croaker that fought like a red.  She caught it on an untra-light rod and that made it even more exciting.  Plus she caught fish and I didn't.

I haven't been to Salt Lake in a long time, but I'm looking forward to the upcoming PACK trip there. I hope to make it. I hope the wind will lay down. That's probably toooooo much to ask, LOL!
