Chris.. I really appreciate the work you did on the power point presentation. I know that takes some time to produce. I really liked the fishing reports format, using the google earth maps to highlight the location, paddle route, areas to fish, and pictures of the catch was really great. I hope we can get that sort of thing done by other trip leaders to go along with our trip reports on the web site. That would really add a dimension to our overall trip report section and provide useful information for future events at some of our favorite spots, or areas that are not so familiar to some of the members. If you will give me a little instruction on doing those maps in Google I will try and help produce some of those types of power point slides, that is if you need the help... I have no problem with you doing it, thought they were great. I just thought of another presentation for Newbie Rigging 2.. if we can get the members to take a picture of their loaded yak, ready for fishing, we can post those on the "rigging" link on the website. A picture is worth a thousand words sometimes... Seeing Ken's streamlined boat along with his description last night would have been awesome. Lots of fun ideas shared last night. I felt like the early departure forced us to rush through some of it. It was really neat seeing Milt's survival kit, hearing Troy's ideas, lots of good feedback from the membership.

Thanks for putting last night's powerpoint presentation together, Chris.  It really added some pizzazz & a whole new dimension to the trip reports , upcoming outings & newbie rigging discussion.  Last night's meeting was one of the best we've had because it allowed so many to both learn & contribute.

I am getting a message I don't have permission to access the ppt file.  I would like to !!  Can you help?  Hope to hook up back with you guys, once I get my son re-settled back in Texas (The Motherland!).

Best,
