I went out with Capt. Bill Pustejovsky yesterday. Left Matagorda Harbor at 6:00am to arrive at our spot on the south shoreline before sunrise. We started our wade throwing topwaters with only a few blowups. Capt. Bill went back to the boat and came and picked us up. We moved spots by about a half mile. He told us to tie on the chicken on a chain bass assassins he gave us and start walking back towards where we came from. Within 5 minutes Capt. Bill was hooked up. He gave us some pointers on our retrieve and then it was on. We were on fish for the rest of the morning. A few highlights were my 21" 4 1/2 lb. flounder, and my 25" trout. Capt. Bill landed a 30" trout that was released. Unfortunately we had to keep Capt. Bill's 27" trout because it was hooked to deep.
