Surfside Jetty Fishing June 1st, 2019

Okay gentlemen, a few weeks ago Marvin Monk and I went to fish the jetty out at Surfside but on the Quintana Beach side. Once we parked, Marvin and I took the wagon all the way to the end just about and then started to fish on the beach side of Quintana Beach and not inside of the jetty where the big ships come through. Although the trout were not running in quantity, they were definitely running in quality. What fish Marvin and I caught were in 18" - 25". Not a lot of people were catching but the ones that were, were catching big trout as well. Marvin ended up with the big one of the day at a huge 25.00". Marvin handled this fish like a champ! Way to go to Marvin for a job well done!!
