Description:

Trip Initiator:  Ken Bement

Expenses/Fees:  $65.00/kayak Estimate - Mothership (Captain tip is separate).  Settle with Ken

Trip Description:  Depart Saturday, November 5, from the marina at Clark's Bait Camp on 7th Street in Port O'Connor, returning from Sunday Beach on Tuesday, November 8.  Must be a current PACK member, dues and waiver complete.    Note that this is a  4 day/3 night trip.

Sunday Beach is located due south of Port O'Connor, just east of Fish Pond and with close access to the channels and ponds associated with the islands/sand bars heading north to POC.  There will also be access to surf fishing along the beach of the gulf waters to the south.

It is possible that the pass into the gulf will be open at Sunday Beach, so care should be taken when dealing with the tidal movement.  Pass Cavallo is not too far to the east and so the same tidal awareness caution should be applied.

Please note that this is a Saturday to Tuesday outing, not a Thursday to Sunday.  Still a weekend and 2 weekdays.  I am chasing a full moon on Tuesday, Nov 8 which should be a positive influence on fish activity.  (I also just noticed that this is election day!!  Please take advantage of the early voting or absentee options that are available).

How to Sign Up:  If you want to go, login, click on the "Enroll for this Event?" icon on the top of this page.

How to Get There:  We will depart and return to the Marina at Clark'sBait Camp (Off 7th Street, Port O'Connor).  Transport will be provided by Captain Van.

Tidal movement and overall water level will impact the transport timing.  The precise timing of trips will be determined closer to the date.
