Trip Description:
This night trip to Tiki Island is for night time beginner/intermediate fisherman that want to learn how to kayak fish over the lights. If you have never kayak fished at night over the lights, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Be sure to have a 360 degree light on your kayak that can be seen at least 2 nautical miles. Railblaza makes a great kayak light for this particular style of fishing. Additional items you will want to take is mosquito spray and a head lamp.
Some lures to use are, but not limited to,
* soft plastic glow in the dark
* small 2" baits
* Gulp
* Spoons
* live shrimp
* etc.

How to Get There: From Houston, Texas, go south on Hwy 45. Take exit 4, The Villages of Tiki Island, and then do the U-turn to the right. Just before you wrap under Hwy 45, there will be a parking lot on the left to turn into with a boat ramp. That is where the launch spot will be.
