Dredging Permit has been issued for Cedar Bayou

The August/September issue of Saltwater Texas News reports The Corps of Engineers issued a permit for the dredging of Cedar Bayou on July 12, 2011. Lynn Edwards, President of Save Cedar Bayou, Inc., says in the article that requests for funding are in place and that ".....funding should be a cake walk." In addition to funding, three bids from qualified contractors will be required. The article further reports that opening Cedar Bayou will dramatically improve fishing in the area.
