Was down at Cedar Bayou over the past weekend. Fish were caught both days. Reds and Trouts primarily on topwater early moring bites. Water was trout green in CB and winds were impoving the Mesquite and Aransas Bays since we were getting some light SE winds. Interesting had not been to CB in two years and this area near the mouth of the Gulf has changed dramatically. The cut going into the gulf is a lot more narrow and the Marsh Lake opening is almost completly closed in. The main stretch of CB is fine. I managed to catch trout and reds in knee deep water and through some guts and pot holes in CB. I had heard they were supposed to start dredging the opening into the gulf and the marsh lake area...but they have not started yet.
