Where is the most coveted site where there is no launch site? What would comprise a launch site if we had to build one or convince someone to build it for us? Please keep your suggestions limited to our geographical area where we may have some influence. Thanks Adrian

Very tough for people to try and carry one yak up it. A reduced incline with grass would be idea to drag yaks on.
Moses Lake could use two launch sites, Texas City Prairie Preserve and from the new project near the gates.
Also, Stingaree Marina was going to open an area to launch kayaks at....but I heard that something put this on hold.....I'm sure Mrs. B would know. This was some kind of deal that TKF was trying to get done for the Yak community.
I agree with Gus, a place over in Trinity to access HLP and Jack's would be nice....great winter fishing as long as the rain has been minimal during the fall/winter.

Ditto Gus's suggestion... near the HLP spillway...also somewhere in the lower part of West Bay... really no where to legally and easily launch from the state park to SLP...
Also up in the north east end of west bay... access to Jones lake area... we really don't need much of a location.. just a gentle slope to the water without riprap and a safe place to park the vehicle.. your mission is a worthy one... but difficult to pull off... just ask slowride about he and jennifer's efforts down his way...
the stingaree deal was messed up by some unfulfilled promises from someone at TKF ... not sure of the exact details.. but heard an opinion from someone who was pretty reputable... I understand there is a launch that is different from the main launch but not well used...
