Mrs B is in the hospital

Any idea what is wrong with her? She is a tough little woman. Hopefully all will be ok.

I think I'm okay, but then what do I know?! LOL!

On the way to a benefit fundraiser on the TX City Dike, I started to feel really strange. We stopped in at the ER of Mainland Hosp in TX City. Called the fellow (2CoolFishing) who was overseeing the fundraiser and asked him to send someone to collect our items for the auction. MsAddicted (Kaylin) and her husband Thomas came and got them.

They did some routine tests, EKG, ct scan of head, but held me over till Monday for further tests. When I came into the ER I was repeating myself, but didn't know it. That didn't last for a long time. They ruled out heart attack and stroke, but the neurologist said that because whatever happened affected my short-term memory, I shouldn't drive for the next 6 months. Bummer! Do you realize that's the rest of the year?!!

I brought my bicycle out of cobwebs, LOL!

Life is good! Just spent a weekend at Rockport to root for the guys and gals participating in the Redfish Tournament. Larry was on call and couldn't leave town. So I called up Belinda (2CoolFishing) and asked if she'd like to take a trip to Rockport with me and do all the driving. What a gal she is! Said she'd just been thinking how nice it would be to take a trip to Rockport. We had great fun, and Belinda got hooked on kayak fishing!

So, for the next 6 months, whenever Larry can't get me to the water, I may have to call on some of you for a lift for myself and my kayak.
