Greg M at Southwest Paddle Sports sent me this notice from TPWD who are conducting a project to help remove Giant Salvinia from Lake Raven and help prevent its spread to other near by waters. Unfortunately it is the same day as our crawfish boil. But, perhaps we can keep this on our list for future projects to support.

I've been making regular trips to Huntsville SP since it is so close to home, two times in May. Last trip there I targeted Sunfish on light spinning tackle and caught some good hand size ones and some small crappie. I enjoy catching small fish too!

I would like to help out but I'll be at the Crawfish Boil, thanks for letting us know about this though.
