If the weather holds, I will be doing my first kayak fishing trip with a buddy on the Guadalupe River next weekend.

Been doing a LOT of research with regards to private access vs public, launch points, etc.

However, actual insights from people who have been there and done that would be awesome.

I have some friends going this weekend 1/22 - 1/24 also. They are staying at Lazy L & L campgrounds . Most of them are Boyscout Leaders and they camp and fish the river every year at this time . You should hook up with them .

Thanks for the heads up. We are launching at L&L , padding up to the bridge then fish from there down to Mountain Breeze it looks like. I am sure we will see them.
