I have a last minute cancellation in the bunkhouse. If anyone wants to occupy a bunk, give me a shout. The bunk rental rate is $49 per person, whether you stay 1, 2, or three nights. If you can only come for Sat no problem, bring it on. If you want in on the group meal, a contribution toward expenses, KP duty, or bring desserts, snacks, or whatever is appreciated. All other meals, refreshments, etc are byob and on your own. Don't forget your earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
I received an update from guide Bob Green Tuesday night. The bass are moving into shallow water on the lake. Concentrate on the warmer shorelines and look for water in the 64-67 degree range. Carolina rigged plastic worms, wacky worms pitched tight to cover, or soft plastics should be the ticket. I will be on the water thursday and will try to gather some more information for the "seminar" on thursday and friday nights.
Check in time at the cabin is 3:PM, I'll be in my sand colored Ford Fusion and will be parked at the cabin and launching from the shoreline in front of the cabin if it is not occupied on Wed night. if there is no parking area at the cabin, I will launch from the boat ramp.
Looking forward to seeing you all, Ken J did a great job on the weather, be sure to thank him when you see him....
