PACK has been invited to the 9th Annual Spring Fishing Classic at Bass Pro Shops in Katy, Texas and in Pearland on March 1 and 2, 2008.
The Classic will run for three weekends beginning on Mar. 1 and ending on Sunday, Mar. 16. Booths will be set up on the 1st weekend, but if you cannot make these dates, we will allow you to come in on the other two weekends. Activities will be going on throughout the Classic.
This is a great time to promote PACK, ACA, increase our email list, and promote our tournament and all of our great trips. We need volunteers to man the booth on Saturday March 1 and maybe Sunday March 2. It will be set up as an event.
The first Saturday is reserved for “Weekend of Champions.” They are inviting anglers with impressive records, winners of tournaments and outdoor writers. We need to be there with our photo albums and a laptop to sign people up. An area will be set aside for them to meet the public and share their experiences. They will also have a band outside and other activities going on as well.
Nonprofit booths are free. Hours on Saturday are 10 am – 6 pm and from 11 am – 5 pm on Sunday. Set up is on Friday afternoon from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm or on Saturday morning beginning at 8:00 am. Each booth comes with one 6’ skirted table and two chairs.
