Turtle Bay Trip Report 7 Feb 09

This past Saturday Jake, Wade, Lucas and myself met at Jenson Point boat ramp at sunrise . The temperature was a little cool and we had a SSE wind on an out going tide. We went thru the culvert and searched for any sign of life, none was found and the marsh was draining . We decided to go back into the bay and wade for a while . The water was chocolate brown from the wind and we saw two other yakkers trying also . One of the locals told of a " hot spot " where he heard they were catching limits of reds .

I showed Jake and Wade the area they we talking about and then took them to Turtle Creek boat ramp and they put in there and paddled up to the spot . No fish were caught during the time I was with them . Better luck next time.
