Weekend Trip to Coleto Creek Reservoir Saturday, May 26, returning Monday May 28. 

Will be staying in Victoria at a hotel yet to be determined.(prob Motel 6)  Will leave Houston about 0930 Saturday, arrive in Victoria about noon, have lunch, go to museum, check in to hotel, fish Coleto in the evening, have dinner. Sunday early start with breakfast, get on the water to fish, swim, picnic, explore.  Dinner somewhere Saturday evening, return Sunday. 

Best bait is watermelon color.  Fish here love SuperFluke Watermelon Fleck.  Carolina rig and Texas rigs work good too.  Twin tail grubs in white have been productive.  You may think you are lost but follow the brown park signs closely and you will find the place.  It's not as easy a Mapquest makes it look, but it's not difficult.  It's just weird.
