I'm taking a poll. If you did NOT go to Panther Point a few weeks ago, and if the weather is conducive (not rainy or wind blown) would you be interested in a 8-man trip from Seadrift?  I've been to talking to Capt. Van Critendon about making a run down down there in his bay boat. Van and his dad have been our shuttle guides to Matagorda Island NWR for the last two years. The understanding is that if eight PACK members are a go by 5 PM Wednesday Dec 13, then is all in. Should have a reliable forecast by then. Temperatures for that area are not bad, but the forecast can be windy. Just have to see. The estimated fee is some where between $65 and $75 each. Charges have not been discussed.

Would have to bring just the basics, not Skimmer-style packing, leaving room for waders and jackets.  We need one Panther Point Alumi to lead the trip. It does not have to be me, I'm just checking to see what it takes.
