Point Au Chenes aka PAC (Loosely translated as Oak Point or Dog Point) has become a hotbed for kayak fishing since PAC is located at the end of the road, deep in the marsh. It is one of the coveted kayak fishing destinations of the Lafayette Kayak Fishing Club, a hub for tournaments. One outfitter, PAC Rentals caters to kayak fishermen and women. They have rental kayaks, guide, and a mothership.

The proposed PACK Road Trip is an invitation for the first 8 registrants to stay 3 nights at an 8-bed house for $105 each. All other PAC Rentals outfitter / guide activities will be discussed later, no one is obligated to do.
