Our Tue. Aug. 18th 7 PM PACK Zoom Meeting Speaker is Shane Bonnot. I met Shane late last year at an open forum on Flounder Fishery and was real impressed on his knowlege on our coastal resources, namely flounder.   Shane is the currently the Advocacy Director for CCA (Coastal Conservation Assn.) Texas, working closely with CCA committees, members and staff on interests and policies that are vital to the long term sustainability of our coastal marine resources. Shane grew up enjoying the outdoors in Wharton. He earned his Texas A&M BS is in Animal Science, with an MS from TAMU-Corpus. His career background includes the Virginia Institute of Marine Science as the oyster hatchery manager and later for TPWD – Coastal Fisheries Division - stock enhancement program at Sea Center Texas as hatchery biologist and later as hatchery manager.  Chris Arceneaux
