Best Route To Panther Point

I plan on launching my boat at Charlies and wanted to know if any of you have any suggestions on the best route to take to panther point.

Some run thru Alcoa cut (aka Buffalo pass), I'd run right (south from Charlies down the ICW, left around Turnstake Island and South to SW to Twin lakes....then 4miles SW to Panther point, around the tip and due South.
