Interesting saw this post below on TKF, apparently Guides are over booking and giving the over flow to substitute guides...if your original guide refers you to a back up guide beware or you might end up like the gentleman and his friends below.....see link for his account
also, thought it was interesting that a couple of guides at the boat show were offering kayak trips ferrying people out to locations in Matagorda Bays.
