The latest weather forecast show slightly stronger winds Friday night and lower overnight temperatures than what I gave on the previous forecast.  The low Sunday morning is around 43 degrees.  Everyone should pack their waders and cold weather clothing.  As I mentioned before, bring long stakes and some extra tie down ropes for you tents.

I'm going to pack this morning and then look at the weather later today.  Right now the forecast shows 40 percent chance of rain.  I will not go down today if it is raining down there.

Ok... Scufka and I are still planning to go. We will watch for change in forecasts this evening, the cold doesn't concern me much, but we are taking a larger tent with a little more wind profile than my two man... I have enough stakes to tie it down, but I have not camped in an open area like this, with 30+ mph... will the heavy duty 12" plastic stakes along with the other standard stakes be sufficient in these conditions.... I still plan to arrive at Charlies before dawn tomorrow, load the boats and begin the paddle to take advantage of the lower winds early.... do you have any problem with us leaving before the formal trip start at 10 am....

No problem leaving early.  Please let me know all the people that leave early.  I need to know so I do not wait for someone that has already paddled out..  Let me know through this forum and also leave a list on your vehicle, just in case someone shows up that has not contacted you previously.  Thanks.
