Went to Salt Lake (near Freeport) on the day before Thanksgiving. Weather was good early but got more windy later in the day. Water was slightly murky and tides were very high. Birds were working when the wind died down. Paddled over to the Nick's Lake cut and found schooling reds chasing shrimp along the grassy edges. Caught 7 fish and managed a small slam. A good day to be on the water.
