The weather is shaping up good for this weekend trip and I'm not surprised at the rise in interest. On Friday we will have a strong head wind making the paddle down difficult. The highs are predicted to be in the low 80's and the night low 70's. A front will blow in on Saturday bring winds from the NW and cooler temperatures on Saturday night so that Sunday morning will be in the low 60's. The paddle back on Sunday should be easier since the wind will be lighter and somewhat to the back. The day time temp will still be in the low 80's.
My advice is to bring a light jacket even though the day time temps will be warm. Everyone needs to bring a minimum of 2 gallons of water for the weekend.
Anyone that is not meeting at the specified time please let me know. Ron and Buzz have let me know they are going out on Thursday.
