Went out to Salt lake last Tuesday, 2 of us in Tarpon 120s. Put in around 8:30 am, fairly windy out of the SSE. Got to the north weir in OK time and started testing the waters around the grasses. No nibbles, fair number of bait fish jumping around. Wind really picked up over the course of the morning into mid afternoon - we were planning on going over to Nick's Lake Cut and trying there before heading back to the parking lot, but realized with the wind that we had already bit off enough to chew. Not one bite all afternoon - and more than enough upper body workout getting back to the parking lot. :) But that new porta-potty with the white roof in the parking lot sures makes a great landmark to get your bearings on!!
