Got an unexpected chance to go fishing on Wed Nov 26 and decided to go to Keller Bay. During low tide in the morning the water was really down so the fish seemed to be congregating in the deeper holes and places where the marsh drained into the bay. Caught various sizes of redfish and a few flounder. The most excitement of the day came when I hooked a 46" black drum that towed me around for about 20 minutes. I was worried about losing it since I hooked it with a 1/8 oz jig and 12 lb mono. When the fish was close enough to see, I noticed it was not hooked in the mouth but was hooked in the tail of the fish. Lucky to get that one in the boat. Attached are a couple of pics.

I guess the Boga grip couldn't handle it. Why didn't you lift it up for a pic? How do we know that's your foot? LOL

How did you hook its tail?
Never could figure out how I hooked it in the tail. Attached is a closeup pic.

Will,
