Let's get some discussion going here. I want to go to Boca Chica again next year - I didn't catch a snook and I wasn't happy about it. And I'll even be the trip leader again - not sure if I can schedule a turtle visit but I'll try.
Hello guys,
No specific recommendations on fishing spots for 2009 but I did think the 2008 schedule was good.....lots of variety (day trips, weekends, fresh, salt, nearby and some further away). I'm available to be a trip leader if needed. Also for next year, a couple of trips that allowed the option for surf and/or bay fishing would be good.

Here are my suggestions: Jan:? – Place with a heater Feb: Keith Lake March: Powder horn -- Great / Awesome trip April: East Matagorda May: Matagorda Island State Park – Memorial Weekend Possibly make it a Sat. – Monday trip. One less vacation day needed. -- Great / Awesome trip June: Tournament June: PINS July: Keith Lake – Prefer the week the full moon. Great night fishing August: To hot for camping. Needs to be a place with AC September: Aransas Pass area October: Panther Point -- Great / Awesome trip November: Goose Island Dec: ?
